Yes, thank you! I knew I read somewhere that she really liked it. We had that book when I was a kid and I read through it.

I really appreciate this, you just saved me at least $20.

Microsoft’s user experience is awful at every step in a browser. I wanted to like XBox but it’s clear why they’re losing.

I think you’re actually right in what you mean though.

“Gaffe” implies he’s embarrassed. There’s no way he’s embarrassed, he’s incapable of feeling real human emotions.

I don’t find this odd at all! Just difficult to clean up if it drips on the coil.

Similarly, I have made a decent number of s’mores in the microwave with marshmallow fluff.

In short, the music licenses for Rock Band 4 are expiring.

On Sunday, October 5, 2025, Rock Band 4 turns 10. What a ride it’s been,” says Harmonix’s statement. “With this milestone comes one big change: the original licenses for the core soundtrack are expiring. Because of that, Rock Band 4 will be removed from the PlayStation and Xbox digital stores. If you already own the game, nothing changes — you’ll keep full access and still be able to download the game and songs to any new, compatible devices. The same applies to Downloadable Content (DLC): songs will come down as they hit the 10-year mark, but anything you’ve purchased will remain in your library.

FYI, “Gaffe” doesn’t imply he has made an attempt to backtrack. It’s just a blatant mistake or faux pas.

I have been really curious about Sonic Racing Crossworlds, thanks for the blurb about it!

I have played Mario Kart prior to this gen (I don’t have a Switch 2) and really like Sonic’s characters. I might wait to see if it goes on sale because full price seems a little steep.

Try playing an old PCM wave file from a 68k based Macintosh or Amiga on a PC.

I really appreciate how specific this is. It sounds like it’s from experience.

That’s true, but I would argue “gut” is more colloquial.

Like, to “behead” someone means to remove their head, but it’s also colloquial. Whereas decapitation is the more medical term.

I think most people would say “de-pants” but I agree with you that it SHOULD be disempantsing.

Though I’m worried the “em” implies the pants are being extracted.

“Dis-pantsing” is also really good though. Then when it happens people can be like “Jimmy got a dis-pants-ation”

Their work has centered on osteocalcin, a hormone produced by some of the same cells that make up bone. His and others’ earlier research has suggested that osteocalcin helps regulate diverse functions such as metabolism, muscle function during exercise, and fertility.

In this sense, osteocalcin works like a lot like other hormones produced by the glands and organs that make up our endocrine system. Because of this, Karsenty and his team have argued that the skeleton should be considered an endocrine organ. That line of thinking led Karsenty’s team to theorize that our skeletons could have evolved to help us better respond to stress, too, since that’s another pivotal function of the endocrine system. And if that’s the case, then osteocalcin should play a leading role there as well.

So they exposed mice to predator urine and immediately saw osteocalcin in the mice’s blood.
