Unfortunately yeah. In fact 3 of the largest Lemmy instances are populated by almost entirely by these third party voters. Even this thread seems to be packed with third party voters trying to defend their support for fascism with the excuse "It's not my fault I voted third party, I don't understand American politics"

Looks like the smart ones will get a little severance:

Niccol said affected workers who choose not to relocate will be eligible for a one-time voluntary exit program with a cash payment.

On an unrelated note, if a significant portion of your job can be replaced by AI then your job can be done remotely because AI has no "office culture" (even though that's a weak bullshit reason for RTO to begin with).

I prefer Don Taco to Taco Trump.

To me "Don Trump Always Chickens Out" makes more sense than "Trump Always Chickens Out Trump". Probably not a big deal though.
