Apple made the worst remote. All generations. I like the media remote I use with my ps5 way more
I love night mode so much I just leave it on that. I tried auto but it was weird about switching at the wrong time so I kept it on night mode
It’s just a neat all in one experience if you have other Apple shit. AirPlay, iCloud, deep integration with Apple Music and Apple TV content. It’s a great device. I’ve had Apple TVs since the beginning.
I will say though if all you’re doing is video streaming and you happen to have a ps5, that will suit you just fine. Most of the streaming apps have been better on my ps5 than Apple TV.
Timers, reminders and sometimes calls. That’s it. And the more I think about it, the more I’m wondering why I would ever need to upgrade again. Unless there’s some big new feature, why? I don’t need more speed for reminders and timers.
Last justifiable upgrade was to the ultra for battery life. No regrets on that. Don’t see myself upgrading for a few years
