The thing is, fields was lighting it up in preseason. So he knows the scheme and can execute it. But you know what’s different in preseason- there is less pass rush.
I would take them!
You’re all overreacting. You don’t pay top money for a guy with this team. That’s a win now move. You don’t go all in until you have the QB and trenches established. Maybe that’s 2026 at this point. The money rolls over you dummies. The bears don’t actually get to keep it.
Sucks that fields is getting so exposed, there goes that draft pick we coulda got for him
