And they sometimes get called "tankies" too by people to the right of them. That's why I both think it's a useless term (if everybody is a tankie, then nobody is) and why I think I fall in the definition (as most leftists do, I've seen pretty mild social democrats being called "tankies" by liberals)

Plus ultimately these blanket descriptions are pretty useless IMO, you'll find extremely heated debates between "tankies" themselves on many topics, there's no consensus, and there are many different ideologies "tankies" subscribe to. It would be like saying that Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and Greens are all the same thing. We could call them "dronies" maybe.

Trillion of people were killed on the spot that day, but tank man was built different. China had to mobilize all their secret services (fake passerby's ) to kidnap him because he was just too strong!

YES

Everybody to the left of biden is considered a tankie nowdays, and I'm proud of being to the left of (and opposed to) genocide enablers.

Israel and Ukraine are the real welfare queens relying on government handouts

All those cars and solar panels that Chinese companies counted on selling in the US must go somewhere. Every other country in the world (excluding the EU, although to a lesser extent than the US) isn't hell-bent on sanctioning China, their production will be just redirected elsewhere.

And since the US, biggest net importer in the world, just stopped... importing, there will be more goods sought after by less money, AKA more supply (old supply + goods that can't profitably be sold in the US anymore) but less demand (since the US just passed these new tariffs) and as you know, this is gonna make prices fall, maybe not a drastic fall but still.

Nuclear is actually the solution, trap every billionaire in a nuclear waste barrel and bury them in a cave 1km deep forever

~for better results, recycle used barrels~

So, I'm looking to rent a VPS to host a site and stuff, there's a reasonably priced provider in my country, the only thing is when I went to check the OS the machine runs I was expecting something like Ubuntu server, Debian or maybe some RHEL-compatible, what TF is cloud Linux? All that I could find online is the company's site and not much more. Somebody knows if it's a debian or a RHEL-like? What package system they use and such? Thanks.

I'm a financial advisor and you should take this seriously

Heyo comrades, I just bought a laptop with an Nvidia RTX 3060 (don't call me a capitalist, Italy discounts VAT on tech stuff if you're disabled) and was looking for a noob-friendly distro with a good Nvidia support (fuck those proprietary pigs)

I looked at Mint since I use it on my desktop, but it has an out of date kernel (I heard that you need 5.8 or above to game with Nvidia, once again fuck them. Never had an issue with my trusty rx580) would just updating the kernel be an option or should I be looking for a different distro?

My only 2 requirements are that:

It's noob friendly (something Debian-based maybe, with a .deb and APT based package management)

And that doesn't use a gnome DE, maybe something more like cinnamon, KDE of XFCE would be nice.

Thanks.

(sorry for long post, had to insult Nvidia)

Remì proceeded to bite Pollo, but Pollo invaded Remì's private sleeping space (my bed) at least I captured a cute moment.

PS: Pollo means chicken, bcs he looks like a raw chicken breast lol ^_^

For the uninitiated, jellyfin is a FOSS alternative to plex, for the double uninitiated, plex is a self-hosted alternative to Netflix, jellyfin can host shows, movies, books(already hosting lots of theory) audiobooks, documentaries and the like.

So, pls suggest stuff i could put on it to help radicalize my friends n family, or just fun stuff to watch. I already have the great classics by the 5 heads and some more. Looking for some spicy red documentaries and shows, also some commie movies would be nice. Suggestions welcome.

Most of my friends and all of my family know English at a decent level, but stuff that has an Italian translation is more welcome.

Ty.
