Just in case you don't know, I can see your FB name when I try to open the source link.

I exaggerate but everybody in Spain still kinda has a dark cloud in their thoughts when they hear "Alcàsser", more than 30 years later.

I'm not gonna deny foreign meddling exists but don't underestimate the "democratic West"'s ability to shoot itself in the foot. Russia (or whoever) might encourage the errors its perceived foes make, but it's not forcing anyone to commit those errors in the first place.

My answer made me think: did you try booting a live ISO to see if it's your OS?

[–] guillem@aussie.zone 2 points 4 months ago (1 children)

It's most probably not the same problem but something similar happened to me a couple of times and entering into the BIOS setup and then back to boot menu from there made it go past the black screen.

Probably because they care more about getting you to click than about what content they offer. You enter thinking you'll find a culturally/geographically relevant answer to a question only to find something that only applies to the US.

What annoys me the most is that it does it "transparently" and shows up on searches as if the thread was originally written in your language.

I think it's the style of English language headlines that substitute the "and" for a comma, I find them extremely confusing.

Bill Gates will eat the real thing anyway.

Edit: this comment is not about Bill Gates. It's not even about butter.
