Ah, I am using WebKitGTK.

Currently version 4.1, though, as 6.0 is not supported on GTK3, and upgrading the project to GTK4 would possibly require a complete rewrite.

I wrote my own browser using WebKit. Chrome is bloat.

Because the majority of people with Maori face tattoos are Maori, not gobshites.

I possibly would allow ones around the edges, and of course Maori face tattoos are fine; but otherwise, yeah.

Initial thought:

  • Strong start
  • I like the idea of bouncing around time and space trying to get back to Earth. Reminds me of the Key To Time saga, as well as the subsequent episodes where The Doctor and Romana were using the randomiser.
  • After some brief research into 1950s Miami, it would seem the three characters who interact with The Doctor and Belinda are a lot more friendly and progressive than they likely would have been in real life. Of course, progressive white people did exist back then, and the characters were important for exposition, but it would possibly have been better to cast people of colour in some or all of these roles. Of course, I am not well-versed in what life was like back then, so any corrections would be appreciated.
  • The bit where they go into the film was a bit weird, especially with the very literal 4th wall break. Not too bad, though.
  • Another member of The Pantheon? It's a neat idea for an overarching "big bad", but I never liked the whole harbinger thing.
  • Overall, it was okay. A bit weird, but it also had similar vibes to some of the '80s episodes.
  • Next week's episode looks promising.

A leopard would be more appropriate, but this is excellent.

I am looking to switch to a different Linux distribution (or BSD). I currently use openSUSE Tumbleweed, which is quite nice, but I'm having issues with my USB ports and it takes a hot second to boot up.

However, the reason I'm asking here instead of going straight to DistroWatch is that my laptop has a problem. When I turn it on, it bootloops unless it's connected to power when I press the button. As such, this distribution would need to be able to handle running for weeks on end without a reboot.

I could get this repaired or replaced, but I have neither the time nor the money to spare.

So, does anyone have any suggestions? Or should I just slap Fedora Kinoite on it and call it a day?

EDIT: I went for ~~Debian~~ FreeBSD, as well as running fwupd, and it's all working now. Thanks!

There's every possibility that IronFox's hardening is to blame for this, but that fact that the site doesn't work at all is disgraceful.

In case you're wondering, no I don't use MSN. I was linked to that page from a Lemmy post.
