meant to post about this last week but I'm delighted with my dye job. I'm naturally a dirty blonde/light brunette depending on the season, with some slight red undertones (stealing valor there tbh, sadly didn't fully inherit that from my mother). I went for like a super deep cherry red, and I'm absolutely loving the result. my hair is easily my favourite physical feature so I'm preening over it even more than usual. washed and conditioned tonight and my curls look great. I was also pleased that I got it done right in time for [personal special occasion] last week where I got to hang out with some of my buds and felt I looked great, even put a full face on which ive also been getting more confident with! I've been pretty freaking depressed lately but I thought I'd push myself to make a positive post hehe. love all my trans comrades!

meow-hug hope you see more progress with it in the future. laser can be annoyingly hit and miss from session to session, and personally I've been kinda disappointed with its effectiveness overall. planning to look into electrolysis soon.

do you exfoliate after a few days? makes a big difference for me if I exfoliate and then shave on like day 3 after laser

it's a real thing, the burnt hairs don't work well with a safety razor but after a few days exfoliating yanks them out very effectively

it gets better after a few days make sure to exfoliate on day 3 and every 3 days after that!

i always just recommend Ubuntu for brand new users. Fedora seems good too but I have less experience with it. for people who want a bit more depth of customisation I would recommend kubuntu or Nobara. I've been using Nobara on my main machine for a few weeks and it's really nice, it's tailored for use on a gaming PC so a lot of nice out of the box stuff like NVIDIA drivers and proton compatibility stuff.

so disgusted reading this story today. this man got a fully suspended sentence for pleading guilty (when he initially lied to the cops and said she attacked him, and only admitted it when CCTV footage was produced), and because the judge wants to save his precious army career while the victim has lost her job due to her injuries. he also bragged about beating her on snapchat and the reason he did it is because she asked him to stop calling people slurs. i hate it here
