I don't think the numbers matter that much. Either way, you end up with a large fraction of them dying on the way, and history remembering it as ethnic cleansing and a crime.
There's historical examples like the trail of tears, the partition, etc. There's a reason these are remembered as atrocities.
Then again, with how tanks are getting chewed up on both sides of the Ukrainian conflict, they might not be something to invest too much in. Israel is even losing tanks to home made RPGs in Gaza.
Especially if that environment includes head trauma.
