Yeah, also:

“Helps” as in asks the waitress if he can help when she brings the first dish? Ok, weird but ok.

“Helps” as in walks up to the pass and looks for their order to grab it when the waitress takes the minute or two to make their rounds? Absolute “the rules don’t apply to me” burning red flag.

It’s not a story the Vibe Coders would tell you

Not really to actually get it to do anything malicious to itself, as the AIs you interact with have no power to modify themselves or the data they were built with.

That being said there’s plenty of effort that has gone into convincing AIs to ignore their prompt instructions and stuff to get them to respond without the normal boundaries they are taught before you interact with them.

Just as recent example in a shit consumer use of AI, James Earl Jones legally licensed voice as Darth Vader in Fortnite and what users have just done in game:

A hand wave? I’ve been a New Englander all my life. You get a quick glance and half grimace smile if you’re lucky. And that’s pretty much only if we accidentally make eye contact

lol it’s very windy in here. Your comment is generating a lot of wooshes

Likely in pretty much every case they are taking files that you perform an AI function on and uploading them to their cloud.

I said the few exceptions might be very low effort work that could run on the new NPU chips coming with some PCs. But I doubt they would even do that because it’s passing up the opportunity to use consumer data to train their models.

So yes, if you use an AI feature, MS is taking your file(s) and training it’s models on it

I’m not sure what you mean. I’m saying that this work is almost for sure being sent to Microsoft’s servers, which is certainly a bad thing. That is burning anyone who uses it

Just because the UI exists in file explorer doesn’t mean the data processing is happening locally. It’s likely happening on MS’s cloud. Maybe some actions happening locally on new machines with NPU chips

And also in many situations people then return to modern socioeconomic states where their criminal history and social status means they fight to eek out an existence while society looks down on them at every turn

What about when they can sprint?

They grow up so fast

I really wish it was just “dumb trump.” But it’s more likely that’s on purpose so idiots searching for stage 5 cancer don’t find results and think it’s part of some deep state lib coverup as project 2025 guts their social safety nets
