And they have. There's a reason his dictatorial party was voted largest and second largest. Its because there is a large group of people in the Netherlands dumb enough to trust a maniac like that.

That US'ians are cool people and a role model for how the world should be, boy was I (well, my dad) wrong.

Fairphone has an atrocious update policy. They do not care for security.

I want to share this but no one is going to get the energy right 😂

Hey everyone! Once a year around mid winter, I gather with a group of about 25 people for the weekend, and we each pick up a task. Last year I did a breakfast, and I liked it so I volunteered again this year. I'm now looking for inspiration!

Last year I did a classic Dutch (we are Dutch) breakfast, with various breads, toppings like cheeses, meats and sweets (Yes we put chocolate sprinkles on our bread and call it breakfast), and fruit.

This year I want to do something a little different! Tell me about favorite things to make for a large group, tell me about its history, origins, heritage!

Yes, extremely general results will be available if you look for just the word "Palestine" look up anything on chants, slogans, organisations in your region in support of Palestine, and you get results like this:

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Pgnl

"Dutch based organisations with Hamas ties" including a hitlist of people and who have already been liquidated

"Hamas ties to Amsterdam pogrom"

"Hamas linked organisations behind..."

PGNL is the Palestinian community in the Netherlands, but most if not all information on the front page is hasbara propaganda.

Last: Pièrre Hadot, "Filosofie als een manier van leven" , the Dutch translation of "Qu'est-ce que la Philosophie Antique?" , or "What is Ancient Philosophy?"

Current: Caroline Criado Pérez, "Invisible Women"

I would definitely recommend Hadot for a clear overview and an interesting read on filosophical history. Invisible women is kind of a must-read to learn about the data gap in statistics of women.

I have high hopes for Mistral. They've been working very hard on becoming an open, honest and secure player in the AI game. Being from France and thus having to adhere to the GDPR and EU AI Act. The transparency is also very welcome. They did sign the letter to postpone the EU AI Act by years, which was questionable.

Stepping out and showing the numbers, which are pretty damn hefty, is a ballsy move. Let's hope they also focus on reusing the huge amount of water that gets pulled for cooling, though.

I'm not a fan of AI for its impact on the planet, but numbers like this hopefully makes people aware and consienceous about it. It will probably be here to stay for a good while, so AI companies being honest and working towards a more efficient and greener system will be a welcome treat.

+1 for guild wars 2!

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some insights of my fellow riders. I'm starting to carry more tactile stuff with me, pens, paper, a calendar, a small driver kit, some small tools, etc. For this I want to start carrying a bag. I like the flexibility of a sling/messenger bag, but I'm looking for experiences with them on a bike.

  • Are they comfortable for commute driving (<45 minutes)?
  • How is quick access?
  • Do you use it outside of riding as well? I'd like it to be somewhat nice looking so I could carry it while walking / at music festivals for instance.
  • Any extra information or recommendations are definitely welcome!

I'd love to hear your insights!
