I just added the Strava heatmap as a layer in one of my maps and this is very cool. Definitely better than in the actual app.

Huh? I really doubt that. And sales tax is lower in the states, plus if you go to REI or so you'd have a way better return policy

Why is everyone so negative? Good on them for killing some stupid feature that nobody really liked. Yes, they'll bring another even worse feature but luckily no one here is impacted by that.

i don’t know.. i see a few people using reddit on public transit and they look alright. I find that kind of disingenuous

I genuinely enjoy it. Especially cardio. Running cycling, doesn't matter. I almost always love the feelint

I'm not a doctor, but the blood oxygen and blood pressure readings are some cause for concern! in c/crappydesign@sh.itjust.works

Why is the all page so different from instance to instance (sh.itjust.works)
 

For example I'm seeing a solarpunk post as #2 on sh.itjust.works but not on any other instance.

Related is also why it seems to differ from client to client? Maybe it's just confirmation bias at this point but for some reason I saw way less posts from shitposting communities than all the other clients? Not sure

Chain only runs cleanly when I keep the shifter pressed (sh.itjust.works)
 

Hi all

When I'm on the biggest wrong on my rear sprocket I can hear a light ticking noise when I pedal.

The noise goes away when I keep the shifter pressed down, as the chain is then properly aligned with the sprocket (I think)

How would I adjust the derailleur to fix this? Do I need to change the limit screw or just the tension of the cable?

Pointers into the right direction are appreciated πŸ˜…

Side sleeper in a hammock? (sh.itjust.works)
 

Hey guys, is it comfortable for a side sleeper to camp in a hammock? I just cannot fall asleep while I’m on my back. Should I stick to my tent?

Whenever I’m just chilling in a hammock I felt that lying on my side took a lot of work and wasn’t very comfortable, but I’m guessing it depends on the hammock.
