This is going to sound like an ad regardless of how I say it but I have both and I basically never use the PS5. I have small children though and game pass has been incredible for giving us a constant stream of entertainment for years now. We did really enjoy PS5 the first year or two but just kinda dropped off after a while.

I bet they count every time the data was fetched, regardless of whether it showed up on a screen even.

Last Friday I won a couple of games at my lgs with a deck I brewed earlier that day. I think how fun commander is really depends on the meta of the group you play with. FWIW I do have more fun playing at my friend's house every Saturday night, but the 4 of us all enjoy playing mid power range decks, 5-7, for the most part anyway. We've been going for over 6 months now and I'm sure eventually an arms race will break out or something but for right now it's good.

Constructed events for cash is definitely on the complete opposite end of the mtg spectrum from commander, probably draft for cash would be the only thing further away from it, so it makes sense that someone into that would feel differently about commander.

I like the chill vibes and playing weird 5-7 range decks (that can also win games, btw, that is an important detail IMO). I'm still playing to win with my decks. We're sort of creating our own distinct meta that is separate from mtg as a whole by playing in our own separate pod and it's honestly fun af. If it somehow ended tomorrow I would immediately start looking for 3 people to start another new weekly commander pod.

Drafting is fun too. But I'm addicted to commander. I have a crew I play with every week and I sometimes play at my lgs. There's really nothing else like brewing new commander decks and playing with 3 friends. It's like the ultimate board game.

Hell yeah this rules. I'm definitely going to try out these digital tools at some point. I don't have a lot of free time these days though but I'll make it work somehow.

I'm an old head but I took a break from magic during those years. Masquerade was my last set, but I did dip back in briefly a few times since then. I've been doing tons of commander this past year so I'm definitely back in now.

As in, "I'm scooping up all my cards because I concede the game."

I play a swamp for turn and tap it for one black, using it to cast two Dark Rituals for a total of 5 black that I use to cast Hatred, targeting my Goblin Arsonist. I spend 9 life to give my arsonist +9/+0. I swing at you for 10 damage. Then I cast Fling, and sacrifice my arsonist, dealing you another 10 damage. GG

IMO mtg peaked with Urzas block and hasn't been the same since so I missed m11-m13 completely. I just got back in to commander hard though and I've been trying to catch up with everything I've missed.

Does anyone know anything about this platform or these people? I hope they're going to be on every ballot. Seems like a good vehicle to count how much support there is for communism around the country. vote

"World's Worst Airline" smuglord

North Korea Flies World’s Worst Airline to Beijing for First Time Since 2020

(Bloomberg) -- North Korea’s state airline made its first international trip since the start of the Covid pandemic, in a sign of easing border restrictions that could repatriate its stranded nationals abroad and increase trade with its powerful neighbor.

Flight data indicates than an Air Koryo passenger jet flew from Pyongyang to Beijing on Tuesday, which would be the first such commercial flight in more than three years. China’s Foreign Ministry said this week the country had given permission for the flight. Air Koryo is also set to operate flights on Friday and Aug. 28 between Vladivostok and Pyongyang, according to NK News, a specialist service on North Korea.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un sealed the border at the start of the pandemic in early 2020. The move slammed the brakes on the little legal trade conducted by his heavily sanctioned state and also left stranded North Korea’s diplomats and thousands of workers sent to places such as Russia and China to earn hard currency for Kim’s regime.

In a sign of opening, North Korea last month allowed in high-level delegations from Russia and China for the first time since the start of the pandemic, and this month sent a group of its taekwondo athletes abroad to take part in a championship in Kazakhstan.

Signs of a resumption of trade with China, historically Pyongyang’s biggest partner, led Fitch Solutions to estimate North Korea’s economy returned to growth after two full years of contraction. Still, it added that significant uncertainties still remain.

Air Koryo has previously been ranked among the worst airlines in the world.
