I can browse normally now (phew!) but in Voyager pretty much everything stopped working for a time.

I tried to search as wall and came up empty - sorry! My best guess for this brainfart is that Valve dropped support for 32-bit on Mac relatively recently and that was after Mac client has been 64-bit for quite some time.

With Slavic languages it’s never a simple word-based analysis - they’re highly inflected so you need to lemmatise text first which is a bit hit or miss when done automatically. I assume author of the graph did that manually for fascism because it’s a loanword and there’s less ambiguity to account for but it gets tedious quite fast if you really get into it. I got into it once in my mother tongue (Polish) and that rabbit hole goes really deep. Here’s a brief overview of how that process looks like.

IIRC this has been announced as well couple of months ago.

I haven’t had a computer running Windows in my home for like a decade or so but I get exposure to it because of working at large corpos. Frankly, LTSC + proper policy set by administrators is okay for day to day work. It is kind of annoying and decaying in terms of usability but the core experience hasn’t changed that much. My partner works at a company that doesn’t use LTSC and that’s a big oof - unwanted features get shoved in your face all the time, breaking basic functionality like search etc. I can’t even imagine how it looks like in a regular consumer version.

I rarely pirate stuff on Mac but I’ve had this saved in my bookmarks: https://www.torrentmac.net/

More obscure stuff might not be well seeded but I haven’t found anything better.

Anyone can say they’re antifa too. I’m head of antifa for the whole immediate area (my condo).

I should prepare for the incoming death squads, I guess.

AMD might be cooked. They were hardware vendor of choice for console makers because they were the only ones with x86 SoC with somewhat capable GPU. Awkward timing though because next gen console hardware is likely more or less finalised.

Also, probably RIP ARC.

[edit] Intel says ARC will live.

Somewhat scary given that US has a history of extrajudicial killing of foreign people labeled as terrorists.

Title is worded in a way that suggests it’s unusual for the army to be deployed within own country borders.

Saved you a couple of minutes.

For some of us reading for leisure is the whole point of having minutes to spare.
