Isn't this an illegal abortion due to care?

A speed limit sign or a mile marker sign. Hiding in plain sight.

Don't eat soap.

Just keep extra anti acid on hand. I have bottles in almost every room and in my car.

You may want to look into getting some preventative OTC pills like Omeprazole or Famotadine. If it's constant reflux, you may want to schedule a visit with a doc, ulcers are a thing and don't get better without meds.

Appreciate the feedback. Thanks for the good vibes.

I found being aware is the most important. Seems like you're taking a healthier approach (not calling alcohol healthy) than most people where it's gotten out of hand, my self included.

I get the lack of hanging out. My drinking definitely spiked during the COVID lockdowns. Still trying to get back to a previous normal with people I hung out with.

I haven't drank in 8 days now, I can definitely tell you that my head is so much more clear and I've probably saved at least 30-50$.

Thanks, appreciate the thoughts.

Nothing worth having comes easy. Looking forward to those challenges.

I've been in that boat for a while; Just not ready to pull the plug.

I've been subscribed here since the beginning, carried over from Reddit. Just reading and listening to people's stories. The check-ins didn't really do much for me.

I consider myself lucky. Even though I may have been damaging my own body, haven't caused physical harm to anyone else. Just a few of my relationships suffered.

When the time is right, I hope you can do it too.

I'm starting to realize, most of it is habit for me.

Fine something new to replace the bad habit with. Physical put some seltzer waters/ for another non-alcoholic drink where you keep your alcohol, then next time you go for it you have a choice.

I finally got sick and tired of nonstop drinking with no buzz and constantly having my stomach hurt.

  • Stressed? Drink.
  • Mad at someone dumb someone did at work? Drink.
  • Mad at a way my partner did/ said something? Drink.
  • Walk by where I hid my alcohol? Drink.
  • Can't sleep? Drink.
  • Play video games, oh it would be more fun if I... Drink.

I went and saw my doctor and told them that I'm not interested in programs but I am interested in quitting. After some back and forth talk they agreed to prescribe me Naltrexone, Omeprazole and Clonidine.

So far on day 4 with only little desire of drinking, realizing a lot of it is/ was habits.

Mostly doing ok, except for the sleep. Clonidine works great to take the edge off and pretty good for the anxiety.

Sleep however will probably take time to fix. I have found that I'm getting these micro seizures is the only way I can explain it. And mind racing. In the middle of sleep I will just jolt, as if energy went through my body. And then have trouble falling asleep, with random muscles twitching/shooting energy. I am curious if anyone else had this.

But but I am on the road to recovery. I'm not interested in drinking this poison anymore. I will miss getting buzzed and not looking forward to social anxiety.

Seems like they didn't clean up very well since there was product spilling 0.o

I see the /s , but I remember hosting 16 people lobbies with 5 Mbps. Its not about bandwidth, but more throughput. Yes, some overhead will cause bandwidth issues, but most of it is THROUGHPUT (ping/ latency).

It's crazy how many people equate Mbps latency. Broadband companies spread this lie that faster is better.

You can game lag free and have VoIP calls with zero interruption on 5Mbps.

Only thing more Mbps helps with is downloading larger files faster.

HAHA that is great! I would say of course. I can't count how many times this happened to me and how annoying it is. I think that's why I don't trust people to do anything for me now.

I hate when the cursor is left in the middle of the screen when play is pressed, but I found that I frequently do it myself...

July 2023, my Amazon Echo 2nd generation stopped connecting to my Wi-Fi and was displaying a red circle/ ring or a Orange light. Because my network names were the same, I tried disabling the 5 GHz Network and only having a 2.4 GHz network available but it would still not work.

After trying to connect it for hours and letting it sit on updating purple circle, I finally decided to take a look at the router it turns out the router updated and started supporting WPA2 and WPA3; which after many hours of research found that the Amazon Echo and other devices do NOT support.

  1. Disable WPA3 on your router
  2. Reboot the Wi-Fi router
  3. Enter setup mode on ECHO/ Alexa
  4. Reconnecting the ECHO/ Alexa using the Alexa APP
  5. Profit $$$

You might have to "factory reset" your ECHO/ Alexa device to get into the setup mode.
