in fact I'm surprised 220 worked. PETG for me usually requires 230-250

he's just going to take it to his pet supreme court and they'll roll over and give him everything he wants anyway
how are your parents or your life not "allowing" you to have a job?
they're just sadistic regardless of if they want to get a confession from you or not. i was a teenage runaway from an abusive family home and they stripped me to my boxers and stuck me in a freezing cell the entire day after arresting me for being a "vagrant" before returning me to my abusers. fuck the police and all such "officers".
it's all good! i hope you can come to a good resolution on this. i am an american that wishes he lived in some european countries so i get it. lol
of course. everyone has dreams and i cannot force you to do anything. but you came into a mental health community asking for help and advice with unhealthy fixations that are causing you to be deeply depressed and you are getting offended when we give it to you.
which is fine. becoming defensive is a normal response if you are feeling attacked. no one here is attacking you. we are trying to guide you to finding the help you are looking for
i do see a therapist regularly actually. she's very helpful
please see a therapist
i think your comment here is just a symptom of what I described earlier. you think you are different and belong in a different culture. the american weeaboos that move to Japan feel the same way and feel like they don't belong in American culture. you may disagree and think otherwise but I'm not here to argue with you. you really just need to talk to a therapist about it. it is not healthy to get this depressed about a country, of all things, especially one you are not actually living in. please seek a professional therapist. they can help you get to the bottom of why you are feeling this way and help you form healthier interests and attachments.
it sounds like you have an unhealthy obsession with a fantasy ideal of a country that is unlikely to be real.
this is not uncommon actually. there are many Americans who have this kind of fantasy obsession with Japan for instance, pick up everything and move there and are disappointed with the negative parts of the culture and life there and get very depressed.
funnily enough there is a actual syndrome that is named after japanese people who would get physically sick after visiting Paris and it didn't meet their fantasies about what the city is like and experiencing the quintessential Parisian rudeness towards foreigners: Paris syndrome.
i can't give real mental health advice. you should seek the help of a therapist. just know what you are experiencing is not uncommon and is something you will want to talk about with a therapist.
millennial who quit all social media except Reddit/Lemmy (now just Lemmy) nearly a decade ago now.
it's great for my mental health. the only issue is that Facebook decided to take over as being the new Craigslist with Marketplace so I feel like I'm missing out on the best sales of used items because i refuse to make an account and give Zuck my data
