My faith in the judicial system is the highest it's been since February.

I don't have the ability to easily verify users. A user verification service would be great. I think it could work decentralized, but maybe have a separate service for it. Servers independently authenticate, and federate with each other. If one starts authenticating poorly, defederate.
I don't think it's a good fit within Lemmy or Mastodon, or .... Because I don't think someone who runs a server wants to bother with it. It needs to be it's own service that integrates with other services.
There really isn't anyone who can step in when the ultra wealthy are fucking up. It's hard enough for us poors with no power anyway, but Ye has enough money that he can do what he wants.
If he wants help he can afford it, but of he doesn't there's no rock bottom for him.
Doesn't seem like the worst choice anyway. If it fits their meds and helps them divest. But idk how European the OS itself is either.
Do they have a non snap browser yet?
Doesn't take a Senate majority to send a judge to Cecot
I won't deny that "On Tyranny" takes a liberal perspective and assumes that liberalism is the goal. But it's an excellent short read and worthwhile on it's own merits from an anti fascist perspective.
It's also worth reading because it's very accessible to liberals, many of whom have realized that the fascism we've been talking about is real and is really here.
What were Mark Rubio's words? Oh yeah... "past, current, or expected beliefs".
They are already explicitly past thoughtcrime being "deportable" and have moved onto expected future thoughtcrime.

There's one written but it's not functional right now
Would they really have started killing so quickly? Like, I'd think they'd want to wait a couple of months and ease us into it
I've stopped using goodreads, but haven't switched to bookwyrm yet. I'm using the lack of import from goodreads as an excuse to keep procrastinating.
Has any fascist regime outlived it's dictator?
