At least we can take solace in the fact that they're going to be miserable for several days a cold, cramped submarine instead of relaxing and enjoying themselves in the luxury of their private island or whatever

Seriously, you'd have better luck changing the minds of people who support this bill by telling them that the Radical Liberals leaked chemicals into the air that turn you gay and trans when you breath them in and you need to wear a mask to avoid exposure

What a go-getter! If she keeps this up she might be able to afford the down payment on a studio apartment by the time she's 50.

This isn't true, since the end of January I've been copying trades by Congress that get called out by QuiverQuant on twitter and more often than not they provide a sizeable return almost immediately. A few of them tanked and lost money (some of which immediately rebounded after I sold them), but even after accounting for those losses my strategy is still outperforming the market.

There's also an ETF called NANC which is based on Congressional trades made by Democrats, and it has been consistently outperforming the S&P Index over the past year. (KRUZ, the Republican equivalent fund, is underperforming the market.)

In a just world in the hit videogame Minecraft these tweets would be mockingly read aloud as her final sermon just before the executioner kicks away the chair

Ah that's my bad, I thought we were just talking Trump's supreme court picks. I'm not sure what they could've done to slow that process down though for lower courts, Republicans in the current Senate were only able to slow down confirmations temporarily after Diane Feinstein starting shitting out her doodoo ass too much to attend the hearings. My point being that establishment Dems give us plenty of legitimate ammunition to highlight their uselessness/malfeasance, so it's counterproductive to call them out for things that they don't have any real control over.

That was for lower court nominations. If there was a way for the Senate minority party to stop a supreme court nominee from being confirmed then the Republicans would've used it to prevent Biden's pick from getting through.

The same reason Republicans didn't block Biden's pick - they didn't control the Senate when Trump was President
