Genuine question how hard would it be to rig some form of self destruct to a drive that has to be deactivated before power is lost to it. Obviously their would be a backup power solution for if mains power was lost but would it be feasible and doable without breaking any laws inherently (eg being a trap and killing the thief).

As a whole FOSS has a nazi bar problem and it needs to be addressed.
I'm not immersed enough in the NixOS community but from everything I know about FOSS it's nazis isn't it?
Edit: I think I was right based off the hacker news comment section and the way it's all about people being banned for " not being woke enough" and "having a neutral opinion on gender".
FOSS has a serious nazi bar problem and it needs to be talked about. I refuse to use hyprland for that reason even though as software its the best available TWM for wayland (I like sway its just harder to use and weirdly slightly more resource intensive).
