Not surprising. This sort of mismanagement tracks for a man who has bankrupted:

  • A shuttle company
  • Four casinos
  • Two hotels
  • A mortgage company
  • A steak brand
  • A travel agency
  • A university, and
  • A vodka brand

And this is just another reason for me to get a lowering kit with my slate truck. It both gets me a little closer to the sedan road height I'm already used to, and also incidentally prevents kids from being obscured.

I'll take an unplanned bonus any day.

Love to, but they usually come in pairs or more. Any plans for avoiding the subsequent retaliatory gunfire?

Cool idea, awful site design.

Seriously, how in the world did you manage to freeze a mobile browser... with plain ASCII text?!

I once drove that long to get to a convention.

Never. Again.

Just because you can drive for 12+ hours, doesn't mean you should. Next time I'm either planning two full days for that sort of driving, or taking a plane.

Oh nooo, I'll have pass time by...
Read the ingredients on the shampoo bottle!

THE HORROR!!! THE SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE INFUSED HORROR!!!

I feel this sometimes, both physically and mentally.
Remember folks, when the fires of will and creativity flare up, don't let it sputter out again. Fuel it, stoke it.

"Relish in your self-same violence. You exist. That alone should be enough."

Nope, never heard it. Must have been on lemmygrad, or one of the other tankie instances no one federates with.

Wait, is it the empty two-line path on the south side of the intersection? If so, that needs better marking anyways.

Just give the guy a list of materials, tools, and relevant safety and installation codes, and let him cook. He's already willing to do the job for you, help him do it right, and also save some taxpayer dollars in the process.

No worries, shit happens. As long as I was able to drill them through quelling their panic and evaluating the threat, I did my part.

You'd be surprised how universal this skill is, and conversely, his easily a panicked person can be coerced into a decision that benefits a bad actor. Look over some of the banking and computer scams that come from India, I guarantee most will hinge on keeping the target panicked and not thinking clearly.

If that's the case, it's possible I've communicated poorly. The overall sentiment should be:

  • Don't Panic. Seriously, panicking almost always results in poor decisions.
  • Discern the threat model from all available intel.
  • Plan accordingly.

Probably just funding stuff, given what you said about sanctuary cities.

Take a deep breath, focus, and check if the article body identifies what specifically is being targeted. News articles always sensationalize the titles anyways.

I considered them too. They got everything nearly right, and then they put the HVAC controls on the touchscreen. If they fix that before mass production, I'll look again.

When I asked this community two weeks ago if I should prune or pinch my avocado tree, I was expecting maybe one or two of the meristem bits to start growing. Instead I got five.

I have a feeling this plant is going to outgrow the ring light I have above it before the year is over.

As nicely as this avocado tree is growing, it does need to be prompted to start branching out at some point.
If I prune off those top baby leaves and leave the two nodes intact, will it start branching from both, or only one?

Current height is around 14 inches tall.

Teasing aside, this works surprisingly well. The default settings for dehydrate is 150°F, which is well under the glass transition temperature for PETG.

Would not recommend for ABS/ASA. I have no idea what temperature that plastic starts putting out its toxic fumes at, and I don't want to find out.

I don't need anything too fancy, I just want to be able to watch the camera, and stop a print if it goes wrong.
Networking is all set on my end too. Got an OpenVPN tunnelback to my house for other stuff.

The top half are Black Hungarians, and the bottom are jalapeños. I actually ended up with more than I have pots for. I'll see if anyone in the office wants some of them.
