I swear the geniuses at the Biden campaign saw the debate and the only lesson they took from it is that Biden should behave more like Trump.

First they orangify Biden in TV appearance. Then they make him call in and say some elite nonsense as if he was some Trump-like anti-establishment figure lol.

It’s not that Biden browses Reddit, it’s his campaign staff who probably spent way too much time on Reddit and got all these brainwormed ideas from it.

Lukewarm take about France:

French comrades can chime in and tell me if I’m right on this one or not.

If you know France, you know that many of them want fascism but not to be the ones who voted for it. They want fascism to be something that is “forced” upon them, or something that “happens” to their society.

A good number of people saw the polls with a far right landslide and thought: “looks like RN’s gonna win big, hey maybe I should vote for the other side to “balance things out” so we don’t all look like a country full of bloodthirsty RN supporters”

Guess what? When enough people thought the same, you end up tilting the results this way. This is how electoral upsets can happen: the polls influence their final decisions.

It seems so. I guess we’ll know soon enough if this leads to an expansion of the executive power of the President since very little will get done in the parliament.

If so, Macron is truly a tactical genius on par with Mao. The last sentence was a joke.

I have said this before and I will say this again: Macron will use the legislature deadlock to consolidate the power of executive branch for himself. The end result is the concentration of power towards the President, and away from the Prime Minister.

North Korea citizens are being tricked into a fun-looking water park but it’s actually SQUID GAME for Kim Jong-un to execute innocent civilians for fun.

Yeah one of my best friends is an Algerian communist living in France, and I’ve heard so much horror stories about the French police and how many French people are just one tiny scratch away from turning full fash.

I don’t think people here understand how many French people wish they are the Fourth Reich. It’s a deeply deeply right wing country.

“It was painful to watch, let’s be honest,” an EU official said of the debate. “We all want Biden to have a second term to avoid dealing with Trump again, but this isn’t really reassuring.”

Ironic, considering that it was the senile Biden who destroyed the European economy and forced European NATO member states into austerity through spending their national budget on defense, which was exactly what Trump wanted them to do but couldn’t.

Let’s take it further: Pezeshkian was himself approved by the Ayatollah Council to be on the ballot.

This could be a signal from within the Iranian ruling class themselves that they are open for a rapprochement with the United States, using their growing relationship and military/economic cooperation with Russia as a bargaining chip.

Prediction: Russia will be left in the cold by Iran, China and Central Asia by the end of this decade. Like most abusive relationships, it proves too difficult to leave the United States behind and form new healthy relationships of their own. So in the end, begging the abuser to take you back becomes the path of least resistance.
