One of my favorite people! If you’re at all interested in computer graphics, math, fractals, or art, you should really check out his work on shadertoy.com. The hundreds of projects he has shared there are an incredible educational tool, not to mention many are just jaw-droppingly beautiful. Here’s a link to one I particularly enjoy.

Maybe this only works on certain fish, but if you stop the first long cut just short of the tail you can flip the fillet over and it stays connected to the body, making it easier to hold while you cut the fillet away from the skin.

I was really intrigued by the idea of short “jury duty” sessions with 12 random strangers in which you have to debate and try to come to a consensus on an issue. Disappointed to see it’s just a one-click opinion poll instead.

I am glued to my IDE more often than not, including weekends. Lemmy is my little respite to get a random sampling of posts on all kinds of topics. Don’t get me wrong, I think AI generated images are pretty fascinating. It’s just that some can trigger a trypophobia type response with their eerie realism.

Is it just me or does tapping Lemmy’s “next” button at the bottom of the page incorrectly open the last post like 20% of the time? My thumb may be fat, but I don’t think it’s that fat…
