My cat recently passed away and I have a number of left over medications that I will throw out.

But before I do, I thought I'd see if they can be of use to any of the cat lovers we have on here.

4 x 100mg Gabapentin tabs.

11 x 0.1ml Vetergesic in syringes for oral application.

50 x 5mg WP Carbimazole: medicine for treating hyperthyroidism.

1 x Profender Allwormer for 2.5 - 5kg cats.

6 x 4mg Zofran Ondansetron wafers to treat severe nausea and vomiting.

1mg syringe of Mirtazapine - for appetite stimulation.

1 bottle of Otoflush.

Pick up in Melbourne CBD.

@mods, take down if this isn't allowed, totally understand.

Haha, if I could work out the offending apartment I'd certainly be letting them know. Would pay someone to walk past at random hours and call their apartment.

A couple of weeks ago I took the plasterboard off a party wall in one of our bedrooms, only to find no sound proofing material in the cavity at all.

The wall was constructed as follows: One layer of 16mm plasterboard (my bedroom wall), then the cavity, then another layer of 16mm plasterboard (their kitchen wall).

I put Earthwool soundshield batts in the cavity and sealed it all back up.

I haven't heard anything from next door since.

I'm going to glue a layer of 6mm cork over that.

I guess I'm "lucky" that I'm an owner occupier and can do work like that.

But I have no idea on how to deal with the washing machine, it's coming from somewhere else but I couldn't identify the apartment (could be from anywhere).

Blurgh, another apartment had their washing machine going on spin cycle at 3:40am. Made our apartment hum and rattle. Then furball decided she wanted food at 6:40am.

I tried to pop into Troika Bar yesterday, but it was closed. I've been away for the last month and I'm hoping that it's closed just for the Xmas break, but through the window I noticed that all the silver mylar/foil was torn down.

Anyone know what the deal is?

Ahh, I seem to have missed that until now. Thanks for letting me know!

Anyone experiencing issues with Bank of Melbourne / VISA credit cards?

Can't tell if it's an issue with the weather or I've been hacked, but my credit card got declined and the website says balance unavailable.

Tried contacting them, but after 8pm that's a no no apparently.

Looking for recommendations for a good watch repair place in the CBD.

I replaced the movement but it turns out that I no longer have the eye sight / fine motor skills needed to put the watch hands back on.....

Being in my 50's is a wonderful thing.
