Yeah I'll believe it when I see it, I've been hearing this since 2012

Mixed bag really. Increased labour supply drives down wages, but you also need people to do all the work and we have an aging population. Also need a tax base to fund our social services.

Let me know when the blue collar workers stop licking boots and start actually fighting back

It's a personal decision. I'm happy I have them, but it's very hard work. There really is a lot of emotional payoff through watching them grow up and helping shape them as human beings. Totally understand those that aren't able to or willing to put up with the downsides though.

Add children and you won't even have time to breathe

Meanwhile I have to listen to braindead coworkers lecture me on how everything is Trudeau's fault and once the Conservatives get in federally they'll fix the economy. Hadn't heard more discussions of economic policy than when I started working on a construction site. Apparently every random drywaller is an expert.

My kid spent a week in the ICU with it last year. In fact his entire daycare did. Pretty sure it resulted in long term asthma as he didn't have any of these issues prior to getting it. I'd be more interested in when they can have a safe vaccine for toddlers for my personal experience. Children's hospitals were literally overflowing last fall/winter.

Well that's a bit of a relief at least

Also American news

I think people are also sick of Trudeau so we might end up with this jackwagon just because of that. Of course no 3rd option will ever be considered as usual.
