If you have a bunch of motorcycles going in a line and you ride another motorcycle on top of that line like a conveyor belt then you will be going twice as fast as the highest speed the single motorcycle could go.

I will always remember the moment when I realized all the "Got Milk?" posters in my elementary and middle school cafeterias were industry propaganda.

I think the original luddites would mostly agree with you. They didn't destroy machines because they hated machines, they destroyed machines because it was the only way to affect the people who were accumulating the wealth and power that was previously allowing the luddites to feed themselves.

Your argument seems to be"don't hate the technology, hate the oppressors and the impressive system instead" which is the same stance the non-moddern luddites had.

Your bot couldn't decide if it was quoting the questions marks or quoting what was inside the quotation marks so it compromised and only replicated the closing quotation mark.

It bothers me that no one acknowledged that this can still be logically true. Of course if most people's ADHD goes away in childhood then it doesn't really logically mean anything to ask "most people you know with ADHD" because by definition, you will only be asking the subset of people for whom that isn't true.

You can't really survey the people for whom ADHD went away in childhood by asking all the people you know with ADHD because the people who would confirm the psychologist's claim are not going to be included in that survey.

It's actually called the "clockmakers four" or "watchmakers four." it's a thing.

Healthcare or health insurance? We shouldn't conflate the two just because The health insurance company has "healthcare" in its name and it got away with that stupid trick in the media.

If healthcare executives are afraid, then they have every incentive to be making sure people untangle that conflation of terminology that the health insurance companies are taking advantage of.

Health insurance is not healthcare.

Yeah it's not really even a joke it's just for the clapter. If someone said to you "it's like we're living in a dystopian future" it would be the same level of humor as this post.

The only thing putting it in a four-way venn diagram added was to explain to the reader that the person doesn't know how venn diagrams work.
