Let's see if they can pull it off. Russians are extremely well versed in tech, and quite a resilient bunch. And the internet had already arrived at peak maturity when they retired to fence it in, making it way harder than in China where they managed to contain everything before it was too widespread.
Yeah, "suck less than the others" is exactly what I mean with race to the bottom. I shouldn't be forced to vote the lesser evil, but the better option.
Left and Right are equally disqualifying factors for me, I dislike radicalism. Which leaves maybe the SPD, but their candidates are all imbeciles.
So I could vote for Piraten or Die Partei, but let's face it - they have just about as much power as Graue Panther or Centrum.
I'd never use Maggi on my Mett, but to each their own. Personally I'm keeping it simple with just salt and pepper (extremely fine ground white pepper), and of course finely chopped onions. Red ones preferred. If I'm feeling frisky, I might add capres.
Yeah because people love to be forced out of their homes. Does the amount of money really matter? It's gentrification, plain and simple.
I'm not so sure about that, they studied Starbucks' quasi-monopoly for quite some time and then decided to beat them with better coffee.
So at least they had a plan, unlike KFC with their "me too" approach. That stuff is so bad I'll rather risk headaches on a 10h flight than to refuel with that garbage.
McDonald's coffee is much better than Starbucks. Still not great, but better.
No. I'm not wasting my time to make a point.
My assumption would be that the display is not related to operating the elevator, but rather displaying information about businesses on the respective floors. I've seen those a fair few times, and since they run on isolated networks or even fully local, there's little risk.
The issue is that the USD is the main trade currency in the world, and all transactions in USD need to be cleared by banks in the US. Since Cuba is banned from trading in USD, they need to trade directly in their import/export partners home currency, which exposes them to additional currency fluctuations, and complicates the whole settlement process.
I wouldn't know what to vote for, tbh. As a citizen I'm still eligible to vote even from abroad, so I check the party programs and also follow local news regularly, and it's been a steady race to the bottom on all accounts. Initially at least the Greens were a reliable choice, but nowadays they suck as well.
Nah, it's the right thing to do. While the law was initially put in place to control nazi flags and other extremist display, using it to take down banners of banned terror organisations is justified.
Or how would you feel if your neighbor started flying an ISIS flag, for example?
