Bloody hell, I didn't realize it's that old. I played it in high school, feels like yesterday.

I really like (mostly East) Asian culture where tips are considered condescending, and employees will be visibly upset if you try to give more than the bill states. And of course all taxes are already included in the list price on the menu. Dining in Asia is so much more pleasant than in the US, and unfortunately this cancerous habit has also infested most parts of Europe.

You bet I would.

Not tipping is not giving my money away for nothing.

Tipping culture creates unwarranted expectations and removes obligations from employers.

I've stopped tipping decades ago and won't look back.

By passport only I believe, since Portuguese can live in Luxembourg indefinitely, they hardly ever get citizenship. Brazilians I guess would if they qualify, and by that time they'd be counted as Luxemburgers.

In Luxembourg it's actual Portuguese, not Brazilians.

There are some Brazilian instances, pretty sure they speak Portuguese as well. And it's the largest minority in Luxembourg, so chances are that you'll find someone on their instance as well. There's at least one, but I forgot the name.

I thought DeepSeek was open source?

I have cables that are 15 years old and still work. Not USB-C obviously, but A-A and A-B, but also some USB-C cables that are close to 10 years old now and came bundled with some OnePlus phone (the 3 I think?).

The key to not breaking cables is to not roll them up tightly. If you need to transport them, put them very loosely into a bag or something, and everything should be fine.

I'm using the cheapest 2m long cables I could find online, they don't fail if treated correctly.

Then I'd suggest you reduce the weight until you find something you're comfortable with, and slowly build up from there. You don't need to use the same weight for every single exercise.

To build general strength in your thighs, it's best not to do repetitive motions as well but to hold certain positions longer and longer.

Look up the Warrior 1 yoga pose for example, it's basically a low lunge with your arms raised straight up. Do that as a warm-up (hold for 5, 8, 10 seconds increasingly) and build up your thigh muscles.

So how many sets do you manage?

[–] viking 1 points 8 months ago* (last edited 8 months ago) (1 children)

Sounds amazing. I work from home and manage my time as I see fit, working hours range from 2-12 depending on current load, so I'm totally on board with maximizing free time if I get my stuff sorted efficiently.

Guess if I cut it further, I would try to get more into gardening.
