Recently there is no engagement in the community. May be it is all happening elsewhere. Previously the developers were actively engaging with the community and bug fixes were quick.
Primarily Boost, but also Raccoon. Unfortunately something has happened with the development of Raccoon and I am getting the feel that it is abandoned now.

Some other retailers seem to list the same model with cooler for almost the same price. X means some changes in CPU itself, something to do with internal memory or whatever. Many people recommended the X version over plain 5700 due to this.
I have not done any changes to the software yet, will try that today.

How are we doing on this? I saw a mention somewhere that while other Lemmy apps would face difficulty moving to 1.0, Raccoon would adjust to the shift. This was mentioned by some user.
I am itching to try out a binary but unfortunately no one seems to have compiled and released one yet.
