Transphobic clichéResigned to the fact that I'll have to constantly explain to cis people the rest of my life that I wasn't "born in the wrong body", I was assigned the wrong gender at birth.

I read it as nature vs nurture, wherein the nurture/external was wrongly assigned or applied. "Wrong body" presupposes a fault within the self or the mind, rather than with the social forces at play.

Our bodies are beautiful, the expectations placed upon them less so
