This one is surprising:

Claim: Hitler has Jewish ancestry

In his own time, there was a rumour that the virulently antisemitic Hitler was in fact illegitimately descended from a Jewish grandfather, but the genes disprove this. They show that his ancestry is Austrian German, something Hitler had instructed genealogists to demonstrate.

Edit: So is this:

Hitler was in the top percentile in terms of his chances of having autism, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and some of his genes overlap between conditions.

Basically, neonazis and white nationalists worship a definitely tiny dicked dude that probably had a severe mental disorder.

I mean, I have a severe mental disorder. But I try extremely hard to not let it turn me into a jerk.

No offense, but I don't think you have a cult following willing to to do evil deeds for you.

Elon Musk? Or Hitler? Same I guess...

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 12 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Trump too. One of the guys on the apprentice said that's why he's had to wear diapers because adderal blew out his insides.

[–] shiroininja@lemmy.world 3 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

As someone who has had an addiction and have snorted 5 30s back to back and felt nothing, I don’t see how the diaper is connected

We don't have evidence that Elon has a small penis. Plenty of evidence it doesn't work, though.

Not really. He had his private doctor that prescribed them to him and all his goons. Also Pervitin was an over the counter drug until 1940 and then a prescription one until around 1970.

Hitler's doctor prescribed him powedered cocaine for his throat and sinuses among other things.

This just gave me a flashback to how i read about a possible link between rtln and school shootings, more then a decade ago.

From experience, something that tracked is a sideffect that completely numbs your normal external emotional response, but builds negative ones up on the inside.

If rtln is ritalin then no, there is not a link between that and school shootings. That was Oliver North bullshit along the same lines as RFK Jr trying to link Tylenol to autism.

https://apnews.com/article/school-shootings-shootings-north-america-health-violence-a9d58fdda3ba49e0b212a5bfd33c39d3

George DuPaul, a psychologist at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania whose research has focused on ADHD treatment, said a deeper body of research exists on the effects of Ritalin and similar drugs than of treatments for any other condition in children. He said it doesn’t support North’s claim.

I take a higher dose of the generic for Ritalin and it doesn't numb any emotions as far as I have noticed over several years. I'm not as impulsive when it is in my system, but that has more to do with being able to calmly think about things before doing them which was the intended outcome of taking medication.

[–] webghost0101@sopuli.xyz 1 points 2 minutes ago

What i read was long before this even (+- 2011) and linked more to psychopathical behaviour then violence but yeah i worded it the way i did because i wasn’t sure about research in the last decade

To be fair i had a very strong reaction to it even on a super low dose, long term side effects caused a lot of scars eventually. But i know for many people it does great.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 3 points 6 hours ago

Yeah it might've looked like my emotions were numbed on it as a kid, but that's just that it let me think before I acted
