Unless there's a small town with a population of like 12 people, 5 of whom are cops, and speed limit signs hidden by vegetation so you don't see it dropped from 75 to 45 for 100 yards and you get a ticket for going over 25mph over and don't have the option to take a driver's safety course to dismiss the ticket.
Want to challenge it in court? Okay. Drive 200 miles back into town between 1:00 and 1:05 on a Tuesday to request a court date that that will require you ro travel again that they'll ensure doesn't work with your schedule. Also the judge (who doesn't have to have a law degree) is one of the 12 citizens, and the remaining 6 are the jury.

It is, but especially on the highway speed limits are just arbitrary numbers that may have made sense 50 years ago, but on modern roads, in modern vehicles are just absolute nonsense. The German autobahn is clear proof of that.
