I heard about the diagnosis a year or two ago, so I've had some time to process this, and yes; it fucking sucks.
There's always a chance that cancer doesn't have the ability to kill Bruce Campbell. I mean, have you ever seen the man throw himself!?
The article says that he was diagnosed in March of this year. Maybe it just feels like longer to you?
I think we can all agree that March this year was around two years ago.
It has been a disproportionately long year.
