Anyone who genuinely expected Bagent to come in and take the starting job was deluding themselves. He's a career backup at best, and that's perfectly fine.

Brother the career backup stuff is nonsense. Take a look around the NFL and see who's under center week to week. He's a top 30 NFL qb. Good QBs are beyond rare. You put him on a team like the Jets instead of Zazh Wilson and they have a shot to win a playoff game.

Not being a star does not equal backup.
