I brought this up a couple of days ago stating that we don’t know how much power Kevin Warren has and was laughed at. I thought he only had control over the management (stadium, revenue being brought in, etc) side of the bears, but maybe not. Thoughts?

This would set a bad precident and put a ton of extra pressure on whoever replaces him. "if you don't turn the Bears around in less than 2 years, the Bears find someone else." How many people would be willing to take that risk?

This rebuild was always going to take well more than 2 years in the first place.

Let him use his own process to find a new head coach not be forced to pick one from a list of candidates already picked out.

Thank you. What HC would ever want this job if they have only 2 years to turn this team around?
