I know we always talk about offense, but I have absolutely loved what I am seeing from the defense since the Sweat arrival. This secondary specifically has an opportunity to be elite with maybe a change at FS (sorry Eddie). Same with this defensive line as well as it seems like we are missing one good edge player as Sweat, Dexter, and Billings have played great. What players via draft or free agency would make this upcoming defense really good or elite?

Only problem is I don’t believe Harbaugh and Warren are on good terms over the big 10 playing during Covid

I brought this up a couple of days ago stating that we don’t know how much power Kevin Warren has and was laughed at. I thought he only had control over the management (stadium, revenue being brought in, etc) side of the bears, but maybe not. Thoughts?

This seems very much look like a Chicago Bears hire. Can’t see them with Harbaugh or Johnson sadly

If patriots end up with the 4th pick, I could easily see them giving up a haul for that number 1 pick. Should be very interesting to see what Poles would do in that situation

Would love to have him. Will be interesting to see if the organization wants more of an experienced hire though after two 1st time HCs

We have this discussion everyday. Idc what they do, just fire the coaching staff, and I am certain we will win more games

You’re literally delusional if you think the coaching staff that the Texans have is similar to the bears . You’re one of those ppl who see success on a different team and think that it can be immediately implemented with a single change of player. If you are not holding the coaching staff more accountable than anyone else, you are absolutely delusional or have not been watching the bears long at all

Brisker will be here. Sadly, I think it’s best for us to move on from Eddie

We getting the 1st two picks in the draft and getting a king random. I NEED it bad!

Matt Eberflus is now 0-9 in the division and 6-22 as a HC. We all know that the owners have no idea what they are doing and don’t have the balls to fire a coach mid-season. And even though I am a fan of Poles, I really am worried that he would retain him if we somehow find ourselves around 6 wins. Kevin Warren is the only man that can save this organization. It will be very interesting in a few months to see how much power he actually has

You might not have seen, but there were 3 defenders near Moore and his route was short of the 1st down. I don’t have a problem with fields taking that shot as it was a great throw. Just a bummer Scott couldn’t come down with it

Fuck tomorrow. He needs to be fired tonight

I feel that Poles very much values draft capital and obviously impact players. However, for a draft that has great WR talent, I can very much easily see him passing on MHJ with the 1st pick. In my opinion, I feel that he would either trade the pick for premiums picks or get his own choice of QB. I just don’t see a path for MHJ at pick 1. I understand he is a generational talent, but with our uncertainty at QB (7 games will determine Field’s future) and the possibility of a massive haul, I just don’t see MHJ as the pick. It will either be QB or a trade down if we get the 1st pick. I also think he’ll for sure be gone at pick 5 as well.
