I brought this up a couple of days ago stating that we don’t know how much power Kevin Warren has and was laughed at. I thought he only had control over the management (stadium, revenue being brought in, etc) side of the bears, but maybe not. Thoughts?
I think Poles deserves more time, but tying himself to Eberflus could be his downfall. If he truly thinks Eberflus should get another year, that is a fireable offense.
I agree although part of me feels like the Eberflus hire was forced by the org and his agent but I can't say that for 100% for obvious reasons.
Poles' misses literally are the 'Flus hiring, drafting Velus Jones, and the Claypool.
I feel like he's done a decent job building a young core, just needs to do better w/ a legit coaching hire and continue to spend wisely and hit on draft picks.
I honestly feel like the pros outweigh the cons w/ Poles and I'd be willing to see what he can do w/ an additional year or two.
