I haven't had a single drink since last September, I honestly thought it would be harder to socialize with friends but it really isn't... dates are pretty much done for, though

Why can't you date now? I'm asking because I'm recently divorced and sober. It seems to me there's lots of people who don't drink now, especially 30s and up.

Not where I am, in my experience! I'm in my mid-30s and I've only had a single date in which there was no drinking, and that one went nowhere. I got ghosted by that date shortly thereafter, in fact lol

It's more of a me problem, to be honest... I'm just not good at this kind of stuff generally, and doing it stone cold sober doesn't make it any better at all. Hope things go better for you!
