If you actually look at the links, they don't even contend with the fact that IOF helicopters targeted civilians, they just say that a particular video of an AH-64 Apache that was circulating wasn't filmed on the 7th.

A real :smuglord: moment

Israel's Hannibal Doctrine, coupled with that pilot testimony/audio that made the rounds back when this started should have made that abundantly clear

Then they cut up many of the vehicles pictured and buried them to make it even more obvious

[–] Chump@hexbear.net 13 points 1 year ago

That shit is driving me absolutely bonkers right now. None of them even use that particular triggering image in their fact checks either

[–] Dolores@hexbear.net 72 points 1 year ago (2 children)

so fully debiunked we buried the evidence and screech appeals to the propaganda apparatus anytime someone brings it up thinking-about-it

im not even confident i know what "obvious airforce strike" should look like but the effort to cover it up raises my eyebrows

Well which is more likely, that in a few hours hundreds of cars were burned by dudes with AK47s and RPGs (that were somehow also committing all the made up sexual assault at the same time) or that hundreds of cars were blown the fuck up by helicopter gunships with 30mm high explosive auto cannons and Hellfire anti tank missiles?

Liberals dismiss occms razor at their convenience. I remember when Nord Stream 2 blew up, I pointed out that that America announced an intent to bomb it then were spotted nearby with military divers a few weeks prior to the explosion. The simplest explanation was that the US did it.

This makes liberals incredibly angry, and they insist that Putin did it despite it being counterproductive because reasons.

This will go no differently. The narrative has been established and will not be disrupted.

Also judging by the state of the roofs, every RPG was apparently fired from directly above

[–] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 21 points 1 year ago

the-boys-are-back-in-town Link drops his glider to bullet time no scope bomb arrows at all the cars then pulls the glider back out

[–] Dolores@hexbear.net 25 points 1 year ago

look i dont even know the over-under on cars exploding when on fire, i'm not gonna speak as if its obvious to me, the surrounding context and reportage is more compelling

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 52 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Literally buried the cars. That one blew my mind.

[–] BountifulEggnog@hexbear.net 46 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And then everyone starts parroting the line about it being to respect the dead.

Like when the fuck has burying cars ever been a way to respect dead people?

[–] Crucible@hexbear.net 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Imagine how big grave plots would have to be to bury everyone and their car in cemeteries

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 38 points 1 year ago

It's antisemitism to question why they would bury evidence!

[–] FourteenEyes@hexbear.net 30 points 1 year ago

Wiping away all the fingerprints, to honor the dead

[–] comrade_pibb@hexbear.net 71 points 1 year ago (1 children)

why the fuck is anyone taking that Nazi clown site seriously. Fucking log off

[–] NewLeaf@hexbear.net 26 points 1 year ago

Seriously. This is the only site that I log into and I plan on keeping it that way.

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 54 points 1 year ago (1 children)

basically every

Love how reddit dialect has filtered up to state propaganda

[–] NewLeaf@hexbear.net 47 points 1 year ago (3 children)

It's everywhere. Even here. There are some proclivities here that drive me nuts. Posting the same exact comment under everything that could possibly be relevant is one. I left reddit for many reasons, but one was having to wade through hundreds of identical "joke" comments or glib responses.

[–] comrade_pibb@hexbear.net 32 points 1 year ago (5 children)

Comment begins with "Eh," means I can safely dismiss an opinion

[–] Egon@hexbear.net 2 points 1 year ago

boohoo I've been doing this for years

Trying to turn one over, but I feel more like hiding in them these days.

[–] HexBroke@hexbear.net 4 points 1 year ago

I use basic and basically too much but I want to believe it's because I read too many CPC statements

[–] Adkml@hexbear.net 53 points 1 year ago

Once again feeling vindicated for calling g this was going to get turned into the modern day snopes that's basically just "correcting the record" and then depressed because once again being correct about what was about to happen because you're capable of material analysis isn't actually worth anything.

[–] Tabitha@hexbear.net 44 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I wonder if you could engineer an unrelated image to have the same md5 or perceptual hash and get it to auto-debunk.

[–] TrudeauCastroson@hexbear.net 19 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If you have access to a quantum computer you could do this easily. With current computing it's hard.

[–] git@hexbear.net 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This was a form of attack against Apple's on-device CSAM detection that they scrapped, so it's been possible for a while.

[–] TrudeauCastroson@hexbear.net 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Edit: wow I didn't realize md5 matching a picture was that easy, looks like you can make any image look enough like that twitter-deboonked one to generate a fake match. How has no one done this yet.

Thanks for the links, it's pretty interesting stuff I haven't kept up with for a while.

I didn't hear about that potential apple attack, I wonder if you could generate a collision with a pic that looks close enough to the twitter image they auto-deboonk and a pic that's completely unrelated, got twitter to add your new similar image to the auto-deboonker, and then troll on twitter by posting the unrelated image.

That'd be similar to that apple attack you linked, but it depends on how twitter auto-deboonking works and how easy you could get them to add a similar-but-different pic to their deboonker database.

I assumed it was a theory that the notes were automated, but I guess it's explicit

Any good yt vids that explain whatever the alleged bombing is from the beginning?

[–] zed_proclaimer@hexbear.net 30 points 1 year ago

It’s the parking lot of the music festival that got attacked on October 7th. It shows massive explosive damage that is obviously from air power because the Israelis panicked and started blowing up their own civilians

[–] culpritus@hexbear.net 12 points 1 year ago

This effort post has a lot of links and videos related to the various incidents of Hannibal Directive on Oct 7th: https://hexbear.net/post/1609134
