England as it exists now is the result of several centuries of settling by different peoples and cultures, just like every other country. Like 99% of every language spoken in Europe (except for things like basque) came from somewhere else, and their religion is middle eastern. It's only natural that this would intensify now that travel is so much easier and everything is interconnected.
