I can't speak for others, but I have autism and interpret things literally unless there are obvious signs of a joke. I'm one of the people that benefit from textual tone indicators.

The fact that you and a bunch of other can't detect sarcasm without it being explicitly labeled is not my problem in the end, but I have an idea of the link between all of you.
