MODERATORS
There is now software for organizations to surveil Slack for keywords and negative sentiment automagically and set up alerts for HR or your manager, etc.. I'd be more than a little cautious about what you write there.
I do this except via text so management can't find the messages

Do not do this. All private messages are exported as plain text when the admin exports workspace data for backup/archival purposes.
At least it's slack and not ms teams

I preferred teams over slack. At least I could hear the notification.
I like to listen for the giggles from the people who forgot to mute when doing this.
It's a time honored tradition.
