That isn't bingo so you are doing fine!

[–] TehBamski@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

True. But when you have 6 chances to get a bingo though...

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Six is the actual threshold of clinical criteria for a diagnosis

[–] Nemo@slrpnk.net 4 points 1 month ago

I also had more than half marked off but did not get a bingo.

[–] RandomVideos@programming.dev 8 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Help, i got a bingo without having ADHD(only being autistic)

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 week ago

congratulations, you've realized something that the whole fucking medical field seems unable to wrap their heads around

diagnoses are categories made up so society can have a nice simple box to check on your documents, rather than to actually help the issues people experience. They admit that there's a lot of overlap between all kinds of neurodivergence and then.. ignore that fact

[–] 1luv8008135@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Feeling like a child in an adult body

Is this an ADHD thing?

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

If the reason for it is that adults are supposed to get shit done and you can't

[–] Chocrates@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Agreed. I do feel like I'm a child but I didn't think it was ADHD related.

It's because I can't get anything done as an adult. I have to pay quarterly taxes and it never happens on time so I get a penalty every year.

Just one example.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 week ago

i think it just generally happens with neurodivergence, there can be a lot of infantilization and since society has few considerations for differences it's more difficult to be self-sufficient, which makes you feel less adult.

[–] janus2@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 month ago

do i get a bingo if my first thought was "i don't think i really want to read all those little squares"

[–] moosetwin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] semperverus@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Did you turn the outline of the center star into a stencil in GIMP and then use that to stamp the other squares?

[–] nomy@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I feel like that's an instant bingo.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

Especially if they were at work at the time.

[–] moosetwin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 month ago

no I used the star tool in ms paint

[–] kittenzrulz123@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

This is literally me, just the entire thing :3

[–] Mavytan@feddit.nl 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

What does poor internal self talk mean here? Thinking badly about yourself? Not making coherent sentences in your thoughts? Something else?

/makes a small mistake

"Why am I such a piece of shit? I don't deserve anything nice because I'm the worst."

[–] hihi24522@lemm.ee 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Yeah so all of these apply. It’d make more sense to do this daily. That way some of them might not be there lol

Edit: except sticky notes. I take my notes on hundreds of different notebooks and note taking apps then forget where they wrote everything, like a sophisticated person lol

[–] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

All checks out but I'm calling bullshit. The column with "called annoying" is paired with exclusively annoying behaviours (and being sleep deprived or understimmed always leads to annoying someone). The game is rigged.

I'd watch a Procrastinator movie ... like tomorrow or the day after.

Double bingo. Yay me.

Edit: triple, I didn't even notice the diagonal

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

What do you get for a daub in every single square, and where do I go to collect my winnings?

[–] starman2112@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

I got a bingo down the center. Does that count as a diagnosis?

[–] Shitty_Platter@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 weeks ago

My results! I love having a disorder /s

[–] starbrite@lemmy.zip 3 points 4 weeks ago

what's my prize? :D

What does "They thought of doing it makes me crazy" mean? What is "it"? Who are "they"? Why did "they" think of me doing "it"?

[–] alex@jlai.lu 1 points 1 month ago

The thought of doing something, I'm assuming it's a typo.

[–] joel_feila@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Is being a night owl really a sign of adhd

[–] jia_tan@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 month ago

Im finally good at something.

[–] HMT@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 3 weeks ago

I believe it's "Can I interest you in everything, all of the time?"

[–] Lucien@mander.xyz 1 points 4 weeks ago

The star in the middle is not spell checking

[–] laurelraven@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 month ago

Didn't get a bingo!

Wait... Was I supposed to circle the ones I do relate to?! Dammit.
