The People know a bad faith prosecution when they see it and are willing to pay what they can to help.
TBH I'd rather donate to the prosecution at this point. Leaves a bad feeling in the mouth when some rich boy murderer gets better chances just because he's got an online following, I assume this is how people felt about OJ Simpson.

even if he did it, that’s not justice - that’s making an example out of him… that’s retribution that far outweighs the crime

If Luigi wanted to oppose the establishment he would have shot one of the lawmakers who create and protect the broken healthcare system instead of some random goon operating in it.

While the court has yet to present their arguments and the jury won't make a decision for quite some time, we still have lots to go on. We unfortunately have been following this story for months because of rabbid lemmings like you constant flooding the feed with your mangione fetishism.
Luigi has an online history of reading books about radical political ideology and leaving radicalized comments and reviews such as his four star review of the manifesto of famous serial killer Ted Kaczynski LINK HERE. Luigi stopped talking to family and friends for months before the event. Luigi was seen on camera near the crime renting a scooter. He wore the exact clothes and backpack he was caught with. The victim was shot with a gun matching the one found on Luigi's person and an attachment that Luigi personally designed on his laptop and printed from his own 3D printer. He was also found with a handwritten note showing a deep fixation and obsession with healthcare individuals and talking about his own actions. He spent days travelling away from the crime while having done absolutely nothing in New York, no personal business.
If it wasn't Luigi Mangione then wtf was he doing there? Why does the Altoona local cops have a handwritten note, the murder weapon, and $20,000 cash to plant?

Evidence has a chain of custody and must be entered into court with both parties having a chance to object.
There is no proof that he had :
A murder weapon
A confession note
$20k in cash on him
Just a claim from a bad faith state.

The Media gave Altoona local police $20,000, the murder weapon, and a note signed by Luigi Mangione to plant? You can't say the $20,000 and weapon don't exist when his lawyers are asking the court to throw them out as evidence.

It would be rare for a first degree murder, categorized by premeditation, planning, and afterthought, to not pursue the death penalty. Luigi is pleading innocent despite being caught fleeing with a gun and $20,000 cash to live off of while on the run.
The people making examples of him are the ones pushing him as some sort of saint and martyr to stoke violence and lawlessness specifically in the west.
He wasn't caught with a gun. A cop searched his bag at the scene, took it to the station, "found" a gun in the front pocket there, and then turned it in as evidence.

His bag was illegally seized in the restaurant (no warrant or probable cause) and searched later, when they found a lot of convenient evidence. After a massive, sudden manhunt that was at serious risk of turning up empty-handed.

Warrantless searches are illegal in Pennsylvania for homes and vehicles, they're expected to search the suspects person during an arrest. The Altoona local police don't have any skin off their teeth if an FBI manhunt turns up empty. Yes, he did have a ton of convenient evidence, because he had been fleeing the area of the crime scene for several days without rest. Something pretty unusual among innocent people, imo.
