Her medical documents did in fact say abortion, she had an abortion. Use whatever mental gymnastics she wants, but factually - She had an abortion, the very thing they have and are wanting to ban.
Any person with even the smallest spark in their brain going through this can figure this out.
There are thousand of abortions performed every day on people who want to be a parent more than anything in the world, people going through IVF and fertility treatments have a high chance of ectopic pregnancies. If you actually understand this, it's obvious how insane she is.
She's not stupid. She's using the media to manipulate stupid people so that her party remains in power. She knows exactly what a hypocrite she is, and she doesn't care. These people don't actually stand for anything other than wealth and power.
THIS. She's dug herself into a hole and can't dig out. Only choice is to dig deeper and fuck everyone else.
I read the WSJ article and she is absolutely infuriating. Her reasoning contains several fallacies:
False Cause:
"It was absolute fearmongering at its worst"
She blames political messaging instead of considering that vague legal language created legitimate professional uncertainty.
Straw Man:
"There will be some comments like, 'Well, thank God we have abortion services,' even though what I went through wasn't an abortion"
This is particularly frustrating. Advocates aren't celebrating her needing an "abortion", they're pointing out her experience is exactly what they predicted: doctors hesitating due to legal uncertainty. She had to argue with staff, pull up laws on her phone, and call the governor's office during a medical emergency. That's the system breakdown advocates warned about, not a misunderstanding of medical definitions.
False Dilemma:
"We have turned the conversation about women's healthcare into two camps: pink hats and pink ribbons. It's either breast cancer or abortion."
This drastically oversimplifies complex healthcare policy into just two opposing sides and the irony is staggering. It's like a company ignoring safety advocates' warnings about a confusing manual, then when accidents happen, blaming those advocates for 'scaring' workers instead of fixing the manual.
She lived the very scenario abortion rights advocates had been warning about all along, yet somehow, in her mind, the problem isn’t the law, it’s the people who tried to stop it from hurting her in the first place.
She should have stood by her religious and political principles, and just rode it out. It was God's, and MAGA's, will to put her through that ordeal, and he expected her to accept her fate.
Instead, she defied The MAGA Lord and fought to have a Democratic abortion. She's a Democrat now, destined for an eternity in a fiery torturous Hell. May God have mercy on her damned Democratic Soul.
/S, nobody really believes that nonsense.
As someone raised by conservatives, they absolutely do believe such nonsense. Remove the sarcasm, and you sound exactly like my dad.
I didn’t realize there were pro-lifers that accepted “it’s not an abortion if the fetus wasn’t going to be viable”. You could pretty easily extend that to full term. Hell with medical debt, I don’t see how there’s much chance in a lot of cases even post partum.
Cult members will never blame their beliefs, they'll just perform mental gymnastics to blame critics.
I have to wonder if the Doctors weren't trolling her a bit. She had an ectopic pregnancy at 5 weeks. Not only is the abortion necessary, it was within the six-week limit, so it was perfectly legal on all counts. So why would they claim they were confused about the law?
I suspect they wanted to teach an arrogant Florida Republican a lesson about politics encroaching on the medical decisions between a doctor and their patient, and made her jump through a bunch of hoops first, just to make her feel the fear, anxiety, anger, and frustration of the average citizen whose medical care is being dictated by MAGA Nazis.
Remember, we are only hearing the side of a professional MAGA Nazi, so she's a proven liar.
That would have some significant medical ethics issues. She nearly died. Do no harm, and that's regardless of the patient's political ideology.
The 5 weeks pregnant vs 6 week ban is a bit more ambiguous than you might think.
The Florida 6 week ban calculates the 6 weeks from the first day of the last menstrual period, not from fetal size or date of conception. https://abortiondefensenetwork.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Florida-April-2025-2-1.pdf
In general, ovulation occurs 12-17 days into the menstrual cycle. Florida's ban is more like a 3 to 4 week ban than a 6 week.
Edit: spelled ban as can once
"roughly five weeks"
Since weeks are counted from the beginning of her last period, not conception, this operation must have happened within one week of her missed period. Perhaps it wasn't so clearly within the law.
You can't fix stupid.
Nature almost did.
Unfortunately, stupid breeds too fast for nature to fix it.
I'm not really sure it's a "news flash" that these people aren't particularly "sharp".
This is like someone dying from COVID denying it on their deathbed.
You can't fix stupid.
My friend is a doctor and said that the number of people denying COVID is real while they died in the hospital is... significantly higher than 0.
It blew my mind that they could literally be hours away from death and still submitted it was a "liberal hoax". I just...can't.
my colleague was one of these. We held a socially distanced ceremony at the office for him. Fucking bleak as hell.
I remember seeing something about a person telling the doctor to go to hell as they were being intubated and just thinking, "No, that'd be you."
Evolution in action. Still sad.
Wonder what was different about her abortion.
She's in the elite ruling class, so she gets to do whatever the fuck she wants with impunity while projecting false accusations onto anyone who fits in the 'other' category while her dumbass base of uneducated gerrymandered trolls eats it up.
Twenty five years old and still just as relevant as ever.

SHE needed one. That's the only reason. The answer was No for everyone else, but Yes for her. Nobody can kill babies but her.
It was hers, as opposed to someone else's.
In all seriousness: it was an ectopic pregnancy, 5 weeks along. Technically legal to perform under Florida law, so in theory it shouldn't have been a problem to have it done even under current law.
To be clear, none of this is meant to be an enforcement of that law, any other laws about abortion on the books, or the anti-abortion movement in general. I can absolutely understand providers being skittish about anything even remotely borderline with these laws in place, just trying to get the basic facts into the comments because good arguments are worthless if it's about incorrect facts
I can absolutely understand providers being skittish about anything even remotely borderline with these laws in place,
And that is the whole issue here in a nutshell. Doctors and nurses are putting their careers and freedom on the line just brushing up against these draconian laws. If I were in their shoes I too would be very skittish.
I'm neither a doctor nor a woman, but can they really draw a line saying this day is in the sixth week and tomorrow is in the seventh? A line that would hold up in court if it had to?
If it's a matter of days you could probably just lie about the timing of your last period. Those weeks are calculated from the date of your last period, not from the date of conception, so as long as you're the only one who knows your cycle you could probably lie a little bit.
Which also makes a 5 week deadline more insane than most people realize. Given a steady 4 week cycle, you have 1 week to realize your period is late, schedule and perform an abortion. A lot of people do not have a steady cycle, and those may very well not notice until it's too late, even if they track their cycle.
Cruelty by design.
The people who are setting the rules are VERY aware of ALL of that.
And is there any medical proof that can stand up to brainworm addled pseudoscience in court ? Would you bet your career and your freedom on that?
No one is gonna arrest her for murdering a child because she couldn’t carry it to term?
This is why The Onion is so hard to differentiate from reality any more.
It's a shame she didn't die. Or at the very least learn something from this experience.
This really is a great example of being a special kind of stupid.
Yyp it's called retardedness. Idk why mods keep censoring me
Delusional
The mere idea that anyone has to perform a medical procedure on a pregnant woman relating to the pregnancy and hesitates, proves that the law is the issue.
Someone will undoubtedly try to get a bill passed somewhere that starts labeling any removal of a fetus from a woman as abortion when the medical community is telling you that is not the case. These anti-abortion supporters want woman to get pregnant and stay pregnant. They don’t care if you have medical complications that lead to death. To think they care is just a lost cause.
Perfectly valid, until one of those that are making the rules and sentencing women to death by pregnancy are suddenly faced with it themselves. Then the hypocrisy starts.
Blame democrats, blame democrats, there not even a real party anyway.
Honestly wish they'd have let her die and made it clear to her it was on behalf of what she fought for. Bitch doesn't deserve to doom so many women and live despite being a would-be victim of her own evil.
