Bullshit! I found evidence of their proliferation in my cupboard and behind the bed.

If you didn’t want to die along with your progeny, you shouldn’t have nested on my sweater, you fuzzy pod of bitch.

Non-animal fabrics don't have this issue.

My favorite wool sweater didn’t deserve to have babies put inside her in the middle of the night when no one could help.

And immediately after releasing the Moth flies back into the house..

[–] 5too@lemmy.world 16 points 5 days ago (1 children)

We catch and release most of the bugs that get into our house, if we can. One of my kids was horrified when a friend's mom squished a bug while he was visiting, because that's not what we do!

Mosquitos are the exception

I train my kids to kill mosquitoes on sight. Spiders live rent free in my house.

Spiders terrify me, but I respect them and have been trying to get moree comfortable around them. They are just smol fast crawlies that like tasty bugs, so I let them chill when I see them.

The moth is near a desk lamp that's turned off, the human's shadow is coming from another light source. Dunno, guyse, but I think this is fake

There is a signature and site on right bottom but I can't find stuff on either of those. Unless sign isn't saying MT203

Moths are usually slow enough to catch in your hand. They're not gonna bite so they're pretty easy to take outside manually.

Or another trick is to use light to coerce them into another room, like a bathroom. Then leave the window open and the door shut and by morning they'll have gone out the window.

Moths are my cat's favorite prey. He used to eat flies, and occasionally the spicy flies, but now it's just moths.

There isn't much else for him to hunt in the house. Thankfully, we have no rodents.

Indian accent How can she hunt??

[–] SARGE@startrek.website 10 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Moth needs to stop runningaway when I try to let it outside, I just want to help but I can't help if I can't catch it.

"Yeah let me allow this giant that controls ~~lamps~~ God catch me"

[–] blackris@discuss.tchncs.de 5 points 5 days ago
