It doesn't apply in my case, but I like the idea of a goddess called Bubbles and a Taco Bell item called Squanch.

My girl cat Persephone got a goddess name, but we normally do old lady names and had a mental block on them at the time. So Percy it is.

Sylvie (left, named her after having just finished Loki season one) and Molly (Cobb, For All Mankind)

My princess is named: Winter.

Because she's white.

Also dictators. I know boy cats named Meowsolini and Chairman Meow.

"Crunchwrap Supreme", but we just call him "Crunchy" for short.

I have a girl cat named Preggo.

We rescued her during a tornado storm, in Arkansas, and we thought she was pregnant so I just called her Preggo.
By the time we got her to the vet we found out she's not pregnant, just fat and weird, however by that time she got used to being called Preggo so we just kept that up.

We name all the cats regardless of sex after something to do with literature. But that's their government names and I normally don't use those online to protect their tiny kitty privacy.

I once lived with a male Norwegian mutt named Nipsey Russel.

He was an interesting character like his namesake. He was an amazing cat who loved alcohol, you literally had to keep an eye on your drink.

The stray calico kitten that hangs out on my porch and in front of my front door I named Princess because she is regal and demanding.

Funny, I’m close to the opposite. My boy cat is named after a god (Apollo, Greek god) and my girl cat is named after my favourite drink (Islay, scotch from Islay, Scotland).

When I was a kid our kitten was a rescue my mother brought home from the place she took horseback riding lessons - the kitten got stuck inside the chip machine's coin box, so it works more whenever you fed the machine coins.

We ended up giving her the oh-so-original name snowball. Then her colors came in and we discovered her to be a calico. Oops. Kitty it is then. RIP kitty.

Boys: Casper (black), Cocoa (white with blue eyes), Marconi

All kitties have dignified names.

My friend has a cat named Apollo and the man lives up to his name

Black male cat: Lucifer

Luna - male

Eclipse - female

Madame (formally Freya) - female

Bat - female

Ding - male

Rainbow bridge: Gaia - female, Apollo - female

Bat and Ding had those names at the shelter and we didn't see a reason to change them. Luna ... We were told he was a she as a kitten, and after a week of proper nutrition we saw the boy bits and just kept the name. Apollo was purposely named that way because we already had one swap and then we'd have the sun and moon.

Boy: Rocky, Guardian, Scout, Peewee, Houdini, Big Boy

Girl: Socks, Magellan, Diva, Leia, Izzie, Ozzie, Fireball, Ditto, Belle, Oreo

Chalupa Batman and Osiris.

All of my cats were named after Star Wars characters. No one, regardless of assigned gender, needs to be named “ Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos.”
