Yes. Wash's death was such a pointless waste. They should have killed off Jayne Cobb instead if they had to kill someone off.

Waaaaaaaaash!

You're a leaf on the wind, buddy. I'll miss watching you soar. /F5

Hemmer on Strange New Worlds. Or Lorca on Star Trek Discovery. Or Shaw on Picard.

Looking forward to see which interesting main character they kill off on Star Fleet Academy.

Hopper on Stranger Things for me. Live forever!

NuTrek does not seem to like the curmudgeon characters, does it? lol

Hemmer was a good catalyst for Uhura, though

Pete Martell in Twin Peaks. He was a rare “good” character who acted out of genuine kindness, and didn’t have some horrifically dark secret and ulterior motives, providing a nice balance to the rest of the town.

Mike Ehrmantraut in Breaking Bad. He’s no angel but didn’t deserve what happened.

Can we make it so Jon Snow never gets resurrected?

Nina (and her dog, Alexander) from Fullmetal Alchemist

Tony Soprano's mother. The actress died in real life and it really messed up where the show was going. She could've been remembered as the greatest villain of all time.

I’m going to add Susan Sarandon on Monarch. Not my favorite show, but I might have actually watched it if they hadn’t killed her off. Like removing the keystone from an arch.

Chang from community. A great actor, but the Chang character was just too much shoved into an already full house. I never enjoyed his arc past becoming a security guard. All the changnesia was a miss for me.

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Did they kill him off in that show?

[–] MintyFresh@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

I wish he'd never been written is what I'm saying. But no I don't think Chang was killed off.
