don't be surprised when the people who have lived their entire lives in a concentration camp have completely dehumanized their captors and take glee in extreme violence against them. What we are seeing today is pushback on settler colonial genocide. Liberals shed crocodile tears for their settlers and ignore the intentional, genocidal project they usually cheerlead. A project that, putting aside even the actual campaign of disposession and mass murder (which should never be forgotten), kills an order of magnitude more Palestinians on a regular basis.

Even the liberals that manage to attach their stunted empathy to Palestinians, who even make attempts to think of them as people, can rarely actually oppose Israel itself, which has just announced and undertaken blatantly genocidal responses. Your first thought is, "how can I tut-tut the oppressed'"?
