Watched a clip of a political YouTuber reacting to the video the same way. Neither of you are wrong. Never been to west Virginia. But it's absolutely that way in the Ozarks from my personal experience.

Yeah. I mean, the sad thing is that Bernie knows he's too old to carry the torch for much longer. This video showcases several moments where he's pushing so hard to get young people involved in politics to keep his momentum after he's gone.

The democratic party's betrayal of Sanders in 2016, and his popularity in West Virginia in the same year, is directly what led to the state flipping hard red. The Democratic establishment pissed them off and they pivoted. I firmly believe that.

You'd be insane to believe that, considering that WV had been hard red for two decades at that point, and in 2020 went overwhelming for Biden over Sanders in the Dem primary.

WV hated Clinton. That's all 2016 was.
