Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

MODERATORS

But as photos and social media posts surfaced showing Sanford in a camouflage Trump 2020 shirt that read “Make Liberals Cry Again,” and a Trump-Pence sign still visible on his front lawn just months ago, the political implications became harder to ignore.

So far, Republican leaders have said nothing.

Thank GOD he was a MAGA! Otherwise this Attack on a Church would have been TERRORISM!

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 7 points 5 days ago

Surely trump will now issue Executive Orders labeling MAGA a "Terrorist Organization" just as he did with the made-up group "antifa", right? /s

[–] Sanctus@lemmy.world 136 points 6 days ago (6 children)

Not silent, I had someone freaking out in my office today saying "dammit! Hes one of us!" with the most disdained look on his face. People died and dude is only talking about how its once again his team that did it.

[–] spaghettiwestern@sh.itjust.works 78 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Translation: "Dammit, we can't use this as an excuse to start our Maga Civil War. I hope we have better luck with the next mass shooting."

5433rd time might be the charm!

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 48 points 6 days ago

Talking about how it impacted him personally. Very conservative.

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 29 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Did he question his life decisions or worldview afterward, or immediately go back to not giving a single fuck about the people who died because it made his cult look bad?

[–] TheBenCommandments 19 points 6 days ago

I think we can all assume the answer to this. I’ve given up on being hopeful for positive change.

When is MAGA getting designated as a domestic terrorist organization?

[–] Qwaffle_waffle@sh.itjust.works 15 points 6 days ago

When the victors write history...

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 6 days ago (1 children)

They designated it themselves at CPAC several years ago

[–] technocrit@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

When USA owns up to its disgusting history, disavows the fascists, and provides reparations for the millions of victims.

AKA never. That's literally what USA is.

[–] don@lemmy.ca 44 points 6 days ago

The Right is the party of murder.

Incredible that the trans liberal mind virus is now so powerful it infects even true patriots like this man. SAD!

[–] postmateDumbass@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago

At least he took out those extreme Mormons. Out there, riding bikes, talking to.people, being violently polite, dangerously normal. Endangering the childrens by their being made up of atoms.

[–] slaneesh_is_right@lemmy.org 33 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Is that one of that antifa terrorists?

[–] SoloCritical@lemmy.world 7 points 6 days ago (1 children)

No it’s just a republican

[–] MuskyMelon@lemmy.world 4 points 6 days ago

So normal terrorist, nothing to see here.

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 5 points 6 days ago

Maybe the real antifa were they maga who kept killing each other along the way

[–] lack@lemmy.world 16 points 6 days ago (1 children)

These libs are crazy the way they go deep undercover as lifelong conservatives

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago

That shows you just how deep the conspiracy goes!

[–] buttnugget@lemmy.world 14 points 6 days ago

The traitor lunatics on Twitter certainly aren’t silent! Lol

They immediately started in with the “that’s not the truck of a right winger” and all this other stuff. They are absolutely insane.

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 12 points 6 days ago

Whose broadcast license is the MAGA FCC secretary going to threaten over this one?

[–] kylie_kraft@lemmy.world 15 points 6 days ago

So MAGA is a terrorist group. I'm sure the EO is coming any day now.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 13 points 6 days ago

Gosh, that's so weird. If this was someone they could claim was trans, they'd be crying about how xtianity is "under attack" from the "radical left".

[–] radio@sh.itjust.works 12 points 6 days ago

Incoming "it was one mentally ill dude, he doesn't represent us" defense. If they bother to cover it all.

[–] ghosthacked@feddit.uk 8 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

S'ok it's one of their own.

Malsocialized whiteboi pass.

When enough of them grow up awkward because they've been tweaked out the ass on 4chan, social media outrage algos, and pedo-adjacent anime, their mothers think something is wrong with society.

Nope. Society works fine for lots of people. No one told you to raise an awkward fucking basement predator.

But then white guy pass comes along and it's "muh raaaaycee" must save "muh raaaaycee"

When you were cranking your 3 incher to anime porn for decades you weren't thinking about your race then

Mormans consider themselves Christians, but Conservatives Christians frequently don't. Unless you're protestant or charismatic, they look down on you. Hell, their nickname for the Catholic Church is "the whore of Babylon".

[–] TheReturnOfPEB@reddthat.com 7 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (1 children)

at one point i thought that it was decided to focus on the victims because fuck giving free press to the terrorist.

that seems to have been completely abandoned.

Yeah... I mean they're fascists not "objective" journalists. Totally normal in fascist society.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 3 points 6 days ago

Of course they are. Idiots won't badmouth their own no matter how heinous the act

I willing to bet a six pack of craft beer he was Charlie Kirk and that's the reason.

[–] LoafedBurrito@lemmy.world 5 points 6 days ago

So Republicans are now labeled terrorists?!?

[–] Kurious84@lemmings.world 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

The good news is when Trump tries to remain in power he will have both sides against him. He doesn't have the support he thinks he does. Even the morons who were fooled by him will wake up
